I am a graduate of Darüşşafaka Lisesi , a boarding school in İstanbul, Turkey. I had my B.Sc. at Middle East Technical University in Ankara and my Ph.D. at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, B.C., Canada . I worked as a research assistant in Gebze at Marmara Research Center of TÜBİTAK, (The Scientific and Technical Research Council of Turkey). Then I joined the Department of Mathematics at the Faculty of Science of Bilkent University in Ankara.
